A recruitment company provides services to people looking for work. They typically informally interview you and then act as your representative, putting you forward to their clients that have job vacancies not always announced to the general public.
Fischer & Partners Recruitment & Executive Search is a reputable recruitment agency with many years of experience in the wide range of sectors that we cover. We have the in-depth market knowledge and will, therefore, be aware of many vacancies that are not advertised in the press or through other agencies. We also manage your application and will liaise with the client on your behalf. Fischer & Partners can also give CV feedback, interview advice and negotiate salaries at offering stage.
Relying on Fischer & Partners will ensure your career is taken with great care and compassion. We pride ourselves on providing the highest quality of service to our clients and candidates alike.
There is always the option to apply for jobs directly with employers. However, at Fischer & Partners, we have a large number of employers who will only use recruitment agencies to find their employees. Some employers will not advertise using traditional methods but will leave recruitment up to agencies. Employees through agencies have usually been vetted, and employers can be confident that they are getting a high standard of candidates.
If your area of expertise falls within one of our portfolio areas, we will be in contact ASAP, by either a phone call, an email. We will keep your profile and continually match you to new and existing job vacancies.
A candidate’s details are kept in our database forever from the time of first registration. After which our system will automatically send you an email asking you for permission to update your current employment status and also ask if your employment status had changed in any way.
Fischer & Partners will interview candidates face to face at least 1 time before a formal shortlisting of candidates. During our interviews, our Recruitment Consultants will do an in-depth personality as well as functionally assessing each candidate’s experiences including an English skills ability assessment.
Be very honest, but remain professional. Sometimes people will come to an interview dressed inappropriately. If you’re not dressed for the position, the agency has to wonder how you’re going to represent yourself in front of the client.
The more honest you are the better we are equipped to find a role for you. Let’s say you’re looking for a new job because your current manager micromanages you. It’s important for us to know that because then we won’t position you with employers who have that managing style. We’ll look for someone who has more of an independent work environment.
Remember, you should try to develop a rapport with the recruiter just as you would in an interview; the recruiter needs to feel good about you, as they are presenting you to their client.
Recruitment agencies are businesses, and they need to attract candidates just as shops need to attract customers. Recruitment Agencies will often advertise certain jobs simply to bring in candidates to register them on their books. This does not always mean the jobs advertised do not exist; they may simply be the type of jobs they have but do not have available at the moment. It is always better for agencies to have candidates on their books that can fill positions if they do become available.
As with all job searching efforts, the success of a candidate finding work rests solely on the individual’s capabilities, and experience as well as their interview capabilities. While Fischer & Partners can play a vital role in helping you with your success in applying for a job opening, we cannot guarantee employment.
You will need to register for Fischer & Partners before we can find work for you. The registration process is really simple. Just submit your resume here. After your details have been entered into our database one of our consultants will be able to contact you.
Or you can simply apply for any job in our job board and attach your updated CV, then your profile will be automatically registered into our system.
NO, we will never do this, we only present your details to a client after we have spoken to you about the vacancy, the company and received your permission to do so.
No, we screen all applications and call suitable applicants to discuss the role and make them aware who the end employer is.
We acknowledge all applications via e-mail, if we think that you are suitable for the role then we will contact you to discuss the role within 3 working days. If we have not contacted you by then it could be that we felt you were unsuitable for the role or that we have not received your CV. If you really think that you are suitable and we have got it wrong then please give us a call and we will explain our decision, CV’s can be very ambiguous and we can make mistakes as well!
YES, you can apply and be put forward for as many roles as we deem you suitable for. If you get an offer from more than one client the decision will be yours as to which one you accept.
You do not need to take a job if Fischer & Partners offers it to you. In most cases, it is wise not to accept a job that you know you will be unhappy in. Good recruitment agencies will try to find the best match for their candidates. Recruitment is sales based and the more employees they have working, the better. It is in the agency’s interest to find positions for new candidates rather than finding new jobs for those they have already found positions for.
If you find a new position or your employment availability has changed in any way, Fischer & Partners would like you to notify us of any changes, to allow us to be able to serve you more effectively.
