Millennials are persons reaching young adulthood in the early 21st century.

 
  • Trends in HR are ever changing. Every year new trends arise due to the issues that HR face and the discussion around how to solve them. Employee experience is the latest trend taking hold of the HR industry. With companies being faced with the task of creating environments that make people genuinely want to show up to work.


  • Many do not know or dare to give feedback. Some people think they can, but in the end, they are pretty bad. The point of the feedback is not just to tell how something felt. It should also be constructive or solution-oriented at some level, otherwise, it is not useful at all.

     

  • As in each new generation, their expectations regarding the labor market and the business world change concerning their predecessors. What does this new generation expect?

     

  • Internet is the new public sphere. Even when you post something and set it in private mode, there are good chances that someone can perform breach of access and use the information against you. The case can get worse, as there is a popular saying that ‘once something is posted on the internet, it will be there forever.’ It means that even when you have deleted the original posts, there are possibilities that they will stay on the net and you have no control over them.

Researchers and popular media use the early 1980s as starting birth years and the mid-1990s to early 2000s as ending birth years. millennials are sometimes referred to as "echo boomers" due to a major surge in birth rates in the late 1980s and 1990s, and because millennials are often the children of the baby boomers. The characteristics of millennials vary by region and by the individual, and the group experiences a variety of social and economic conditions, but they are generally marked by their coming of age in the Information Age and are comfortable in their usage of digital technologies and social media
